UG: Hamilton College Offers $32,000 in Financial Aid to International Students
Hamilton, a liberal arts college with an emphasis on individualized instruction and independent research, is a national leader in teaching effective writing and persuasive speaking.  Close to half of all students are on financial aid and receive $32,000 on average which covers full tuition, room, board, and student activity fees.

In order to be eligible, the following requirements must be met:
-       Acceptance to Hamilton College under one of four Decision Plans: Early Decision Plan I (Nov 15 deadline), Early Decision Plan II (January 1 deadline), or Regular Decision (January 1 deadline).
-       Students should complete the International Student Financial Aid Application and the Certification of Finances.  These forms should be submitted to the Financial Aid Office.  International students who are U.S.
citizens need to complete the FAFSA, the C.S.S. Profile and the Hamilton Financial Aid Application.

communication. SIT offers Master of Arts degree programs in Conflict Transformation, International Education, Sustainable Development, and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) on its campuses in
Brattleboro, Vermont and Washington, DC.

At the SIT Graduate Institute, international students may be eligible for a combination of grants and scholarships that cover some portion of the cost of attendance. SIT grants are based primarily on need and students are automatically considered for this grant when their application is reviewed.

UG: Merit Scholarships Available to International Students at Central Washington University
All new undergraduate international students enrolling for fall, winter, or spring quarter will automatically be considered for eligibility for merit-based scholarships.  Scholarships are available while funds last.
Students who apply for admission early will have better opportunities for receiving scholarships.

UG: Idaho State University Offers International Students Non-Resident Tuition Waivers
Idaho State University (ISU) is still awarding non-resident tuition waiver scholarships for 2011-12. Students need to be admitted to an eligible undergraduate program by May 1 and have a 3.0+ GPA.
 
ISU offers programs in business, engineering, arts, sciences, health professions, and technology.

UG & Grad: Saint Louis University Invests $1 Million in Aid for International Students
Saint Louis University has announced that it will provide $1 million in new institutional aid to international students for the 2011-2012 academic year.
The University currently educates students from more than 80 different countries and is exploring new educational partnerships in China and India.

 

"As we continue to recruit students from around the world, it is important that we remember that many of them face the same financial realities as our American students," said University President Lawrence Biondi, S.J. "This
investment not only reflects our strong commitment to our international students, but also our rising status as a global institution."

 
Saint Louis University is enhancing its support of international students in other ways as well. The University recently completed a new Center for Global Citizenship, which brings SLU's internationally focused academic programs and support services under one roof. The center also features a 1,000-square-foot student lounge, state-of-the-art conference rooms with global teleconferencing capabilities and a classroom dedicated to supporting international teaching.

１．アーカンソー大学フォートスミス校被災学生短期留学奨学プログラム
アーカンソー大学フォートスミス校は、1928年に設立された州立の4年制大学です。約8,000人の学生を有し、美しく自然豊かなキャンパスと、小規模クラス編成を特徴としています。当大学では、被災したために経済的に留学が困難な状況におかれている学生で、積極的に海外の大学で学ぼうとする学生に対しての短期留学奨学プログラムを提供します。
２．奨学金の内容
奨学金の種類：１学年度 国際親善奨学金（１学年度8ヶ月支給）
支給内要：月$ 500、航空券、寮費 *寮には3食付いています。
派遣国：米国アーカンソー州フォートスミス市
派遣年度：2011年8月〜2012年3月
募集人数：2名程度
募集期限：申込書の応募締切日 2011年5月27日（金）

３．奨学金給付に際して
この奨学金は、滞在中の授業料、教材および生活費等に加えて米国への往復の航空券も含みます。もし、支給奨学金以上の費用を要する場合は、追加分を自己負担しなければなりません。
４．資格条件
（１）日本の大学、短期大学に在籍する被災学生であること。
（２）日本国籍を有すること。
（３）修学に必要とされる語学レベルを有すること。
・英 語………TOEFL-IBT 61点(CBT173点，PBT500点)以上
（４）留学に耐える体力を有し、キャンパス内外での活動に積極的にかかわろうとする者。

５．応募の方法、提出資料と期限
◆応募に際しては、次の資料１〜資料５を、2011年5月27日（金）までにinternational@uafortsmith.eduまでメールにて提出すること。
