Grad: Scholarships Available at Case Western Reserve Mandel Center for Non Profit Management
The Center is distinguished by the quality of its faculty, the strength of its ties with nonprofit leaders, and its close relationships with four sponsoring schools at Case: the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of
Law, the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, and the Weatherhead School of Management.
The Center offers a master's degree, an executive option to the master's degree and a graduate certificate. Students can enroll in the fall, spring or summer semesters. International student may apply for Mandel Center

本日、Everett Community CollegeよりDr. Christine Kerlin（Vice President of University Center and Strategic Planning）とMs. Mayumi N. Smith（Director, NBI and Japanese Programs）がフルブライト・ジャパンのオフィスを訪問してくださいました。
Everettは、Seattleから約40km北に位置する安全でフレンドリーな都市。西側には海
、東側には山があり、ハイキング
やスキー
、キャンプ、釣りなど、アウトドアアクティビティが満喫できる環境です。大都市（Seattle, CanadaのVancouver）へのアクセスも◎。
"Community College"ですので、2年間の準学士課程を提供しています。が、なんとEverett Community Collegeキャンパス内で、学士課程、修士課程のプログラムも提供されているそうです。えっ？どういうこと？(@_@) と思われた方も多いことでしょう。Everett Community Collegeでは、8大学と提携があり、提携先の大学で提供されている学士・修士の一部プログラムが、Everett Community College内で、受講できるそうです。と言ってもまだ、よく分からない・・・という方も多いでしょう。ぜひ、ウェブサイトをチェックしてみてください。
Everett Community Collegeには、Nippon Business Institute Japanese Cultural and Resource Centerがあり、日本庭園・茶室が設けられているそうです。日本人留学生にとっては、日本文化について、アメリカ人学生などにシェアする機会や、日本が恋しくなったときに、ホっとできる場ともなっているそうです。

Fellowships with Stipend of up to $50,000 at Wellesley College
Newhouse External Fellows are chosen through open competition and are open to both junior and senior faculty members at other institutions. Both stipended and un-stipended fellowships are available. Stipended Faculty Fellowships carry a stipend of up to $50,000 for two semesters. All categories of fellows will receive private office space, some clerical support, technical and computing resources, and the collegiality of both the
Center and the Wellesley community at large. In addition, research funds of up to $3,000 (pro-rated for one-semester residencies) will be available to all fellows for books, professional travel, access to collections and other associated costs of scholarly research.
