UG: Leeward Community College International Student Scholarships
Located in Pearl City, Hawaii, Leeward Community College is a regional community center, creating both an environment for academic learning and a center of cultural life. From professional career studies to liberal arts, the College offers diverse and comprehensive opportunities for all students. As part of the University of Hawai'i system, they are dedicated and responsive to the community, providing an open door to the world of educational opportunities.

Leeward Community College is offering scholarships to new incoming international freshmen. The scholarship award is $3,000 per year and is renewable for a second year based on continuing eligibility. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.2 and scholarship applications must be accompanied by Leeward admission application.

UG: Hiram College Merit-Based Scholarships
Hiram is a coeducational liberal arts college of 1,300 students located in the historic Western Reserve region of Ohio. Hiram is a nationally respected institution that offers students a distinct learning environment with an emphasis on close student-faculty interactions, international study experiences, and experiential learning environments.

Hiram College offers merit-based scholarships to international applicants. For on-campus residents, scholarships range up to a maximum of $21,000 per year. For commuter students, they range up to a maximum of $16,000 per year. Scholarships are renewable annually for up to four years of study. To receive full consideration, a completed application for admission should be received no later than February 15 for the fall intake and no later than October 1 for the spring intake.

UG: Oregon State University Provost International Scholarships
Oregon State University welcomes a diverse student body of nearly 25,000 students from across Oregon, all 50 states and more than 100 countries. Students choose from over 200 undergraduate and 80 graduate degree programs, including 20 full online degrees. Oregon State University increasingly attracts high-achieving students, with nationally recognized programs in areas such as conservation biology, agricultural sciences, nuclear engineering, forestry, fisheries and wildlife management, community health, pharmacy and zoology.

Oregon State University is offering The Provost International Scholarship to exceptional international first-year and transfer students. Award amounts vary and are renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study with specific renewal requirements to be met by recipients. Minimum eligibility requirements at the time of application for non-resident freshman is a 3.75 GPA or 1800+ SAT/26 to 28 ACT and transfer students must have a 3.75 GPA and 36 or more college credit hours.

UG/Grad/Postgrad: Georgia College Merit-and Need-Based Scholarships

Georgia College offers international student scholarships to students based upon extracurricular involvement, academic excellence and financial need. Arizona State University (ASU) is a public research university located in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area of Arizona. Arizona State University is offering the David McHugh Scholarship for Exercise Science and Related Studies. Postdoc: Kellogg Institute for International Studies Fellowships
The Helen Kellogg Institute for International Studies brings the best of interdisciplinary inquiry to bear on research themes relevant to contemporary societies around the world, especially democracy and human development. Drawing faculty fellows from across the University, students, and visiting scholars, the Institute promotes research, provides exceptional educational opportunities for students, and builds linkages to support the University's strategic goals on internationalization. The Kellogg Institute creates a space where those interested in international affairs can engage—with one another and with issues crucial to human society. Known for its regional focus on Latin America, the Institute has in recent years widened its scope to include Africa, Asia, and beyond.

The Kellogg institute is offering fellowships to scholars and practitioners who conduct international research on themes of democracy and/or human development.  Applicants may come from any country and typically fall into three groups: promising junior and midcareer scholars (typically postdocs and assistant or associate professors), distinguished senior scholars with an established record of scholarly excellence, accomplished policy makers, journalists, and other practitioners whose knowledge and experience can link policy and scholarship. Fellowship includes a stipend, travel expenses, medical insurance benefits, partial housing subsidy and up to $1,500 of conference travel support for recipients of one and two-year fellowships.

UG: The University of Illinois Springfield Global Partner Award
The University of Illinois Springfield, approximately 200 miles southwest of Chicago, was established in 1969 by the Illinois General Assembly. Since its establishment, approximately 5,000 students enroll each year and choose majors from among the 23 bachelor's degree programs, 20 master's degree programs and 1 doctoral program offered.

The University of Illinois Springfield is now offering a new merit award, the Global Partner Award, for high-achieveing international undergraduate students (both freshman and transfer applicants) with a GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. These awards range from $2000 to $4000 per year (renewable each year), and are in addition to existing merit awards of $2500 to $5500 per year based on both GPA (min. 2.75) AND ACT/SAT score.

To be considered for assistantships,  students must be enrolled in a degree-seeking program, register for at least one course and satisfy the minimum course load specifications of the individual departments. International graduate students on F1 visas cannot hold a greater than 50 percent work appointment. Multiple assistantships for international graduate students cannot add up to more than a 50 percent work appointment.

Postdoc: The National Humanities Center Fellowships
The National Humanities Center is the only major independent American institute for advanced study in all fields of the humanities.  It provides a national focus for the best work in the liberal arts, drawing attention to the enduring value of ancient and modern history, language and literature, ethical and moral reflection, artistic and cultural traditions, and critical thought in every area of humanistic investigation. Outstanding scholars from across the United States and more than thirty other nations have been awarded fellowships for advanced study at the National Humanities Center. The Center annually admits forty fellows, who represent a broad range of ages, disciplines, and home institutions. Individually, the fellows pursue their own research and writing and together, create a stimulating community of intellectual discourse.

The National Humanities Center offers international fellowships for advanced study.  Applicants must submit the Center's application and financial forms supported by a curriculum vitae, a 1,000-word project proposal, a one-page tentative outline of chapters, a short bibliography, and three letters of recommendation. Applications and letters of recommendation must be postmarked by October 15, 2012.

Faculty members, passionate about teaching, prepare students for success in whatever directions their careers take them. The University of Evansville offers Academic Scholarships in a range of approximately $10,000 to $16,500 each academic year with limited substantially higher awards for outstanding academic performance. Lewis and Clark College is an institution with global reach. At Illinois State, students receive individualized attention from professors, 98 percent of whom hold the highest degrees in their field.

Illinois State University offers graduate assistantships that include a monthly stipend.  The amount varies depending on the number of hours required, student status, source of the funding, or nature of the assistantship assignment. UG: NORTHWESTERN MICHIGAN COLLEGE MERIT-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS

Northwestern Michigan College (NMC) is a publicly funded community college serving people, organizations and businesses throughout the Grand Traverse region. NMC offers associate degrees and professional certificates and through partnerships with nine universities, grants baccalaureate, graduate and doctoral degrees.

Northwestern Michigan College recognizes the uniqueness of its students and offers scholarships of up to $5,000 each for new international student applicants. These scholarships will be awarded to new students applying for fall 2012 admission and will be based on students' academic achievement.  All majors or programs of study will be considered.

UG: THE OHIO CENTER FOR BROADCASTING INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS

The Ohio Center for Broadcasting's program allows international students to gain industry experience while staying connected to family and friends back home through the radio. Students enrolled in OCB's program can begin hosting their own radio show (that's broadcasted worldwide) during the first week of the program.

The Ohio Center for Broadcasting (OCB) is now accepting scholarship applications from international students! A scholarship for international students was established to promote globalization and provide international students with an opportunity to study abroad and gain valuable training for a career in broadcasting.

UG:  EASTERN WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY FRESHMAN AND TRANSFER SCHOLARSHIPS

A focus on personal attention, faculty excellence and community collaboration allows Eastern to accomplish its mission for preparing well-rounded students ready to hit the ground running in their chosen career fields.

Eastern Washington University offers scholarships to freshman and transfer students with a GPA of 3.2 or higher who maintain current F-1 and J-1 visa status. 1+2+1 students must have a minimum TOEFL score of 71 iBT or IELTS score of 6.0 to be eligible. The award amount is $1,500 - $4,500 for the academic year, excludes summer session. Recipients must meet 3.5 cumulative GPA to maintain scholarships each quarter and duration.

Whitworth offers scholarships and grants up to 60 percent of the cost of tuition, or $20,200, for qualified students entering the 2012-13 academic year.  Scholarships and institutional need-based aid are also available for transfer students.

Rutgers University-Camden offers first year and transfer undergraduate scholarships and graduate assistantships and scholarships to international students. Undergraduate applicants must submit SAT scores to qualify for merit scholarships. Merit scholarships range from $1,000-$10,000.
