UG: Capital University Merit Scholarships Cover up to 40% of Tuition Costs
Capital University is a comprehensive, independent university grounded in the Lutheran tradition. The education we offer is experiential, intimate, and urban. From the arts and sciences to professional programs, our teachers excel at both challenging students and creating a personalized learning environment. We believe the intellect is best developed when it's exposed to education inside and far from the classroom. That's how we engage the community in the pursuit of lifelong learning. In short, Capital University prepares students to contribute to the world — through both their professional lives and personal service.

In recent years, four out of five undergraduate international students have received scholarships. The average award has been about 30-40% of tuition. Scholarships are renewable from year to year as long as students maintain the required minimum grade point average. Scholarships are awarded primarily on the basis of superior prior academic or school performance. Financial need is a secondary consideration.
