UG: International Merit Scholarships up to $25,000 per year at University of Dayton

University of Dayton offers international merit scholarships which range between $5,000 and $25,000 per year to first-year and transfer undergraduate applicants.

The University of Dayton does not require international applicants to submit ACT or SAT scores for admission or a limited scholarship review. However, applicants are welcome to submit ACT or SAT scores, as good scores may increase scholarship awards.

UG: Scholarships up to 50% of Annual Cost at Western Wyoming Community College

International students may be awarded academic scholarships to attend Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Scholarships can pay 10% - 50% of the annual cost of attendance.

Academic scholarship awards vary in amount and are based on official SAT or ACT score reports and academic transcripts. New college students and transfer students may be awarded academic scholarships. The priority award date is April 1 for the fall semester.

UG: Merit Scholarships to International Freshman at University of Rhode Island
University of Rhode Island (URI) offers merit scholarships to international freshman applicants.  All students who apply by February 1st will be considered.  While most of their applicants submit SATs to be considered for
scholarships, they will consider students who apply without them.  Students must submit a TOEFL for scholarship consideration if English is not their native language.

URI offers 80 majors in their seven degree-granting colleges: Arts and Sciences, Business Administration (AACSB accredited), Engineering (with ABET accredited programs), Environment & Life Sciences, Human Science and Services, Nursing, and Pharmacy.

UG: Eckerd College Launches New International Scholars Award
Eckerd College, a small, liberal arts and sciences college in St. Petersburg, Florida, has recently added an International Scholars Award for admitted students. All students who are admitted to the College are eligible
to apply for this award. Eckerd College is rolling admission but students must be admitted by April 1 to be invited to apply for the International Scholars Award, which gives up to $5000 per year, renewable, toward the cost of tuition.

Students are automatically considered for other merit-based scholarship awards at the time of application. Awards are given up to $11,000 per year, renewable.  Eckerd College offers 39 majors across the arts and sciences including Marine Science, Environmental Studies, Business Administration, International Business, International Relations, Economics, and a 3-2 Engineering Program. All students are paired with a faculty mentor for all years of their study and engage in hands-on research, internships, and other experiences.

UG & Grad: St. Cloud State University Offers In-State Tuition to International Students
The Academic and Cultural Sharing Scholarship (ACSS) at St. Cloud State University offers the resident tuition rate to international students who meet and maintain the requirements for eligibility.  The goal of the ACSS is
to promote interaction and cross-cultural understanding between international students and members of SCSU and St. Cloud communities. This is a savings of almost $7000 per year.

Each of its more than 200 undergraduate and 60 graduate academic programs are accredited, meeting the highest standards of the education community. It is small enough to have professors who know you by name and help you transition into life and learning at St. Cloud State University. It is big enough to have professors who are recognized nationally and globally in their fields.  It is in a safe, semi-rural community of under 100,000
people, yet it is just an hour from the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul--a major venue for sports, entertainment, dining and business.

Grad: School of Law Merit Scholarship up to $11,000 at University of San Diego

The University of San Diego School of Law awards merit scholarships to students admitted to the LL.M. in Comparative Law program based on the merits of the applicant's scholastic and professional experience. Applicants acce  pted to a graduate program at the School of Law are automatically considered for a Merit Scholarship award.

Comparative Law students study side-by-side with J.D. and LL.M. students from across the U.S. and around the world. The contemporary, dynamic J.D. curriculum prepares Comparative Law students to deal effectively with U.S. attorneys on questions of common interest.  International students must have inimum TOEFL score of 250 CBT / 600 PBT / 98 IBT and must have a degree in law.

Grad:Merit Based Scholarships at the Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business
The Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business and Management offers Merit Scholarships for international MBA applicants. The awards range from partial to full tuition.

Selection criteria include: Post-bachelor's professional work experience Strong undergraduate performance (academic and extracurricular)  GMAT or GRE score Commitment to community (local, work, school, church, community, etc.) While TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE scores are required, they are not considered in scholarship awards. There is no separate scholarship application process.

Pre Doc: Fellowships Available at University of Texas Austin LBJ School of Public Affairs
The University of Texas at Austin pleased to announce a new pre-doctoral fellowship at the LBJ School of Public Affairs.  The Climate Change and African Political Stability (CCAPS) program will offer up to three pre-doctoral fellows  hips for the 2011-2012 academic year.

The CCAPS pre-doctoral fellowship program aims to  stimulate the development of the next generation of researchers and thought leaders on the topic of climate change and political stability in Africa. Pre-doctoral fellowships are available to advanced PhD  students, with preference given to those who have made substantial progress towards the completion of their dissertation. CCAPS will consider applicants working
on a broad range of topics related to  climate change, political stability, and security in Africa. Suitable topics may include, but are not limited to: climate change vulnerability in Africa; potential impacts of climate change
on political stability or security in Africa; and strategies for addressing climate change challenges in Africa.

Post Doc: Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Fellowships at Brown University
The Cogut Center for the Humanities, the Center for Environmental Studies, and the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine seek an Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Postdoctoral fellow who studies ethical issues  concerning the environment, especially those dealing with environmental justice, climate justice, environmental health, and both individual and community right-to-know about environmental risks and hazards.

The Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow will teach two courses a year in the Center for Environmental Studies and the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine on topics dealing with environmental ethics, one which will stem from their own research, and one which covers a broader array of environmental ethics topics. The Fellow will also work with the Center for Environmental Studies and several Department of Pathology and Laboratory
Medicine Colloquium Committees to bring in speakers on environmental ethics, in order to expand that area both in the Center and throughout the university. The Fellow will have the opportunity to work with Center for
Environmental Studies and Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine faculty who teach and/or have funded projects in environmental ethics, and will have colleagueship and mentoring from faculty dealing with
environmental ethics in other departments and centers as well. All fellows are affiliated with the Cogut Center for the Humanities where they participate in its activities as appropriate to their research. Fellows have
the opportunity to interact with Brown faculty affiliated with the Center, to participate in fellows' seminars, lectures, and conferences and to participate in the planning of research groups and large-scale seminars on
various topics in a stimulating intellectual environment in which to pursue research, develop new interdisciplinary connections, and network. The Fellow will receive a stipend of $52,000 and $54,080 in their first and second years respectively, plus a supplement for health and dental insurance, as
well as a $2,000 per year research budget.

Candidates should send a letter of application, a curriculum vitae, and three letters of recommendation.
