Wesleyan university welcomes international applicants

Wesleyan University is a private, nonsectarian university of liberal arts and sciences for men and women. Wesleyan offers its students the advantages and benefits of a relatively small school along with the facilities, faculty, and research opportunities usually found at larger universities.
Established in 1831, Wesleyan has a long tradition of sustaining a
remarkably diverse, lively community of learning. Located in Middletown,
Connecticut (pop. 45,000), Wesleyan is two hours from New York City and two hours from Boston, situated in New England along the Connecticut River midway between Hartford and New Haven.

Wesleyan offers instruction in 39 departments and 46 major fields of study and awards the bachelor of arts and graduate degrees. The master of arts degree and the doctor of philosophy are regularly awarded in six fields of study. Students may choose from more than 900 courses each year and may be counted upon to devise, with the faculty, some 900 individual tutorials and lessons.*

The Wesleyan Freeman Asian Scholars Program*, provides full tuition

We have students from over 60 countries around the world and that number is growing everyday. Our college was founded in 1885 with the purpose of

International Scholarships at Troy University

Troy University is a public institution comprised of a network of campuses throughout Alabama and worldwide. International student scholarships and graduate assistantships at Northern Kentucky University
Greetings from Northern Kentucky University! I am writing to update you on important deadlines and offerings at Northern Kentucky University. We are well into our fall semester which began in August but we are still accepting applications for the spring semester which will begin on January 10, 2010.

The application deadline for the upcoming semester is October 1, 2009. All students can apply at http://apply.nku.edu  and instructions on applying can be found at http://oiss.nku.edu/
Students who apply for the January semester may receive the International Student Award and/or the Transfer Award.

International Student Award: At least ten new international students will be chosen at the beginning of every semester to receive the International Student Award which is in the amount of $2,000/ year and is renewable based on grades. Students will be chosen for this scholarship based on their grades and test scores. Interested students do not need to complete a new application to apply for this scholarship.
Transfer Award:The Transfer Award is available for students who transfer to Northern Kentucky University a minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited university any where in the world. This award is in the amount of $2,000/year and students do not need to complete any additional applications for this scholarship.

Graduate students are always encouraged to apply for graduate assistantships. More information about assistantships can be found at

The university is also offering a large variety of institutional scholarships for students planning to enroll in August 2010. These scholarships cover a range of amounts but may include full tuition and room and board.  All of these scholarships require a separate scholarship application as well as a strong SAT score and outstanding grades.
